I'm surprised that no one said 12 Guntz. I mean, with really good attack and defence equipped with Power Rings and Valkyries they are beasts (Both literally and metaphorically)! 12 Zylos would be monsters in attack but their defence might lack.

With the damage spells do, most casters would only need to get in two shots (making MP concerns minimal) max to kill any Force member. While caster defense is pathetic, I'm pretty sure that they could survive one hit. Given that they have high agility, they're more likely to get in two hits before most anyone else... and they have another advantage in that if they even get close to killing the opposition, they have multiple-target effecting spells.

Guntz is at a particular disadvantage when facing casters in that his HP isn't as high as some, his move is less than the casters, his agility is lower, and his biggest asset (defense) is irrelevant. High HP, high attack characters would have the best shot against casters. Maybe healers would be able to weather their barrage too...

All valid points, but remember, there are 12 Guntz...es...anyways I think 12 of any member really would be an exceptionally good team, with exception to maybe the casters due to some trouble before their level 4 spells come in.

IDK i prefer lvl 3 spells to lvl 4 spells due to not using as much mp is being used up, and in some cases, there is a wider hit radius.

12 casters would result in absolute carnage.
You would probably lose half of them every battle but abolsute carnage

Um Isnt MP cost the same for level 3-4 spells in SF1? IIRC, both Blaze 3 and Blaze 4 cost 8 while the Freeze spells cost 10.

This is true. SF2 spells were increased in MP cost for Blaze 2-4, Freeze 3-4, but decreased for many spells exponentially (Slow and Quick(Boost) in SF1 had costs of 6-20 and 5-16 respectively, while SF2 lowered them to 3-6 and 2-5.) Strange considering SF2 characters ended up with much more MP in late game in comparison to SF1 characters. I really think the SF1 high costs were more accurate than the amazingly cheap costs of SF2.

I don't know, I think any of the archers would have troubles too. Anything squishy would - except, perhaps, for the casters since they have such overwhelming firepower at their disposal.

Hmm. Did anyone suggest Arthur yet? That would be interesting.

To be fair, everyone would probably want the move ring by default. A big part of a confrontation like this would be first strike and maneuverability. The centaurs have the advantage of the highest natural move and their best weapon is ranged. Arthur has the additional bonus of having one of the highest agility scores in the game.

However, there's no reason why Alef or Anri would wear anything other than move rings, and even with 9 move and a ranged attack... once engaged, no one can run away and get outside their spell range. With blaze's shorter range though Tao would run into trouble...

I can actually give you 12 Max's. Only thing is - they share HP.

Query: Do they share a small amount of HP or an immense amount of HP?

They share HP. Which means, anytime one Max is attacked, all of them suffer the same damage. (Btw, if you want to do it from the start, you won't get all 12 Max's for a few battles since only so many characters are allowed on the first battles.)

What I meant is do they share the HP of one Max or do they share the total combined HP of all 12 Maxes?

It sounds like they have only one of Max's HP. To compensate, it would help to increase his HP growth a bit using an editor. It's probably doable without that, you just have to be careful on smaller maps, especially.

Definetly 12 Bleus. Second probably Musashi with Mobility Ring.

I've noticed some mentions regarding 12 Taos, and that got me thinking. Even though her only attack spell is the weakest of the three, she does have status spells as well, which so far doesn't seem to have been brought up in the posts. While those are generally rather worthless, I imagine Sleep in particular would be a lot more useful when you could cast it a few times in a row on select targets to try getting a hit, or spread it out amongst several enemies across the battlefield. Especially if you know how to manipulate their hit chances (at least I read it's possible in SF2 because of how they function based somewhat on steps taken), you could put the entire enemy force to sleep rather efficiently. Then how strong or resilient they are wouldn't be much of a factor.
